it's my 16th in 5 hours. and i'm scared shitless.So yeah, there's this feeling in my stomach right now and i'll be honest. I'm scared. I'm turning 16 in 5 hours and it feels like that moment in Harry Potter where he turns 17 and like all this protection on him is broken. Well in Australia, the age is 16. So what does sixteen - such a simple number, consisting of two digits, really mean to me? It means I can't be a kid anymore. And really, at heart, I'm still that year 3 kid who saw year 4 as something that I could never handle or cope with. I'm still that kid who stares at clag glue or playdough as something to eat. I'm still.. a kid.
Let's see what being 16 brings on. Let's see who I'll meet, who I'll be drifting apart from and who will stick by my side. Let's just see.
